Hi folks, I know this might sound stupid ,but Iam facing running GAIM as a msn messenger.
Well Iam loading the plugin for msn, then Iam configuring the account for msn usage. When I login it reaches the "synches Server", then the program raises an error about protocols ("protocol not correct").By the way my Internet connection works correctly.
Thanks in advance for any help.
P.S. Keep it running folks we,ve got to beat Bill Gates
Well Iam using, GAIM v 0.59.8, but on a second thought, I think that ms changed the protocol of their messenger from 7 to 9 last october or so.
Thus, I downloaded the latest GAIM version (0.81) from the website, I downloaded the rpm specified for my Linux version ( Red Hat 9.0). So when I click on the rpm it opens a box loads and just disappears again.
????????
