Question ping www.xxx.yyy FAILED

I had to reinstall Woody. Now DHCP is working for my cable-modem.

BUT the pb is, I can only ping www.xxx.yyy being root and when I log in as a normal user, it would say Unknown host ?????? What's the solution ??
