PIng everything but my server, which can ping me

Well, the title says it all, really. I have 4 computers, two XP and two Suse 10, small home network with one router. One of the Suse boxes is my file server, which is setup for access by everyone (IP) and works flawlessly. I've always had problems getting Linux boxes to talk to each other. My Sony Suse box connected to my Samba server once, then I didn't use it for a long time. Now, I can't even ping the IP of my server, but I can ping all the other computers on my network, my router and the internet. Heck, the Suse Server will ping my Sony Suse box!! What the heck did I do?!?

Did you activate a firewall that drops ICMP packets?

Can you connect to it anyway at all?

None of my boxes have any sort of firewall, as I have my router doing all the dirty work. I cannot ping it, I cannot connect through Samba, I can't connect to the NFS server on the box, so no, there's no way I can connect the two in my network, but like I said, I can ping the other computers and my router, just not my server. My other boxes can ping the server, as well as the Sony box. So everything pings and is pingable, except my Sony Suse box cannot ping my Suse Server.

UPDATE: I put my server where my Sony box was, and my Sony box where my server was, and voila! I have a Samba connection! Now... if only I could figure out the unknown error in Stat: Connection timed out part........
