PIN in wvdial.conf - or??
 

Hey all.

If i want the PIN code sent to my Huawei E220 USB modem, should i use wvdial.conf - and how?

If not, what should i do then? I prefer if it is possible that it is only once, i have to tell Ubuntu 7.10 the PIN code.

Yes, your modem uses the Hayes comand set. wvdial will send a string of Hayes commands as an "init1" string. The following page shows an example of wvdial sending a PIN=1234 string to a Huawei E220 modem as part of an init1 string.
