Persisting The connection using 2 modems
 

Hi folks,

i have a server connected to Internet, i want to guaranty the connection using two modems if possible.
to clarify, i have two modems : modem x from provider X and modem y from provider Y, such that modem x has heigh priority. the two modems should be connected to the server; so when there is no connection from modem x, the device (router, os ... i do not know what is needed here)detects that modem x is not connected, automatically use connection from modem y.

any suggestion or help is welcome.

i searched the web i found MLPPP. so can the Multilink PPP solve my problem??
