peng with AOL Broadband

I need to connect to aol using my cable modem but peng does not seem to detect my ethernet card. If anyone could please take the time to walk me step by step to install the thing from scratch, i would really appreciate it.

I have peng 1.05 downloaded as a tar.gz
I am using Redhat 9
My ethernet card is Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection (how do i get linux to recognize this?)

*I have tried the tutorial on yolinux and i have not gotten it to work.

Bumping your thread for 1...

2. I'm moving it to the networking forum where it should get the needed attention it deserves.

3. Post up the following (which will hopefully give some insight to how to reply):
as root, in a terminal type:
lspci -vv

You will notice this will be larger than a single screen. To capture this info to a text file for easier copying/pasting use the following syntax:
lspci -vv > /root/lspci.output
And then in your /root directory you'll see the text file:
lspci.output
And you can read it with your favorite text editor (mine is less:
less lspci.output)

HTH

Cool
