Lightbulb PCI wifi Prism 2.5/3 connects from windows, but from linux....

I have trouble connecting to my home AP US Robotics with
PCI wifi card based on Prism chip (Z-Com XI626) from my Slackware 14. I have managed to connect with it few times only. However, this is not the case when I use WinXp. From WinXP it goes immediately after system gets up. I don't understand what more do I need to set up in order to get this work. I also have some ADSL JetSpeed router with wifi support and when I try to connect with it, it works right away. I use the US Robotics cause it has better signal since I have very often disconnections with JetSpeed due to it's poor signal strength. What is interesting, JetSpeed connects in Linux without problems.
I only have problems with US Robotics USR5451.
Please help.
