pc doesnt boot after modifying etc/network/interfaces

Hi guys
As I said in the title, after modifying etc/network/interfaces trying to follow these instructions

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wi...hroughWireless

now my pc won't boot anymore

I made a backup copy of the interfaces file, and I tried to revert to it, but still my problem persists

this is my original file:
Code:
# This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).

# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

# The primary network interface
auto eth0
#iface eth0 inet dhcp
Now, I am starting my machine using a remastersys dvd i did a while ago, then i open the interfaces file and i copy the above.
Anyway pc won't boot, its stuck saying COnfiguring network devices

and when i reboot again with my remastersys cd and i open the interfaces file, i just see

Code:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
Any help is greatly appreciated guys!
Thx!

Well, in the first code block above, the second section should look like this
Code:
# The primary network interface
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
You have a "#" sign in front of the iface eth0 line which means it is ignored.
