Is there a way in Linux to hardset the pps it uses on the NIC? I'm a big gamer, and I would like my gaming rig to have a high number of pps which theoretically will lower latency/lag... any suggestions?
This will be controlled by the application, i.e the game, not the OS or the hardware. i.e in unreal tournament 2k3 there is a setting under the uneal2k3.ini file to set the max pps. (can't remember the setting but you get the point...)
