Packet Masking/Packeteer workarounds?

I just moved onto a University internet that is using Packeteer Packshaper. What it does is rather than say blocking port 80 for web 21 for ftp it blocks the packets so it is impossible to run on any port. It also limits my online gaming to less than dial-up quality. What I was wondering is if there is any way to mask packets for either HTTP or for gaming uses. It is has the speed just not allocated how I would prefer :) Seeing as this is a linux group I figured I would have the best shot at an answer here.

Anyway if you could direct me in the right direction or just say it's flat out impossible let me know. THanks guys,
Aaron

If you mask going out, usu called a tunnel, something outside must unmask ...
If that is the case, it may be better to login to an external box and work from there...
