Packet flow in Linux
 

Hi

I want to know How the packet flow in Linux system once its enter into the NIC.

i.e which all the buffers,softwares and stack processes the packet till it reaches upto application layer process.

If you explain me in a broad manner it will be help me a lot.

I can't find my old references but there exist some nice figures somewhere on the net. Maybe someone knows where they are.
