Cool overnet + gtkrellm + k3b + xmms + you guys

a pretty interesting operation today. i running overnet for the first time and it pretty much runs in the background downloading a bunch of stuff by way of peer to peer. in the forground i'm moving stuff off my external hard disk onto cdr's using my external cd-writer. too bad, i got to manually group what files are to be written to a cd but oh well. i also got some files larger than 640meg, however now that i got hjplit installed, i'll be able to break those down into separate cd's.

in all this, i got gkrellm running on the sidelines keeping me abreast of everything thats going on. and that says nothing of having XMMS playing music and/or Internet radio compliments shoutcast.com

and then i'm writing this note before i correct some assignments while it blows a wicked "north-easter" (blizzard) outside my window...

all things not perfect, for some reason, nautilus will core occasionally when i delete files, but not to worry, nautilus simply restarts where it left off without affecting anything else.... (like try that with windows, yeah right)

now this is linux......

now this is an operating system

THANK GOD FOR LINUX

ps.
