In the future, one can check out the
main page of the WikiDevi website where one can enter the exact model number of one's router for useful firmware info.
Just as a relevant example, when one enters "D-Link DIR-300" into the top Search field of this WikiDevi page (again,
https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Main_Page), one gets hits for different revisions of the D-Link DIR-300.
Following the link for the
D-Link DIR-300 rev A1, one can see that this router can support both DD-WRT and OpenWrt firmware. Other revisions of the DIR-300 router are listed at the bottom, as well.
