openvpn errors

Hello,

I have been able to set up a openvpn connection between two servers and for some reason I am getting and error message that reads:

read UDPv4 [ECONNREFUSED]: Connection refused (code=111)
UDPv4 READ [-1] from [undef]: DATA UNDEF len=-1
UDPv4 WRITE [60] to <dest server>:5000: DATA len=60
UDPv4 READ [60] from <dest server>:5000: DATA len=60

and I can't seem to figure out what that means.
I can ping between both servers fine, but I want to know what this message is all about.

Thanks,
Adamantium

keys

check your keys. make sure they are the same (if static). also use tcpdump to look for more clues (tcpdump -l -i tun0 and/or eth0/ppp0). check for firewall interference....

I finally found the problem!
Sort of....
I don't exactly know what it was, but it was definately the firewall. For some reason I was able to make the connection but received those errors which have to do with blocked packets - udp.
I opened the firewall right up and started building from scratch....success.
sorry I don't have a definate answer but I would suggest going over your firewall again.
