openvpn client can ping server but can't ping viceversa


hi all,

i have configured openvpn on two ubuntu machines to connect to remote sites. everying fine, client can ping servers lan ip via tun0 itnerface, but server can't ping clients lan ip, but can ping clients tun0 ip.

enable ip_forwarding but no luck.

please help me

Isn't the idea of a vpn to isolate a network? Not sure but I think it ought to act the way I think you are saying.
