Openvpn Bandwidth limiting

Hi,

I have a 1mb adsl line which is 1mb download and 512k upload.

Also running a linux rh9 box with openvpn 2 vpn server using a UPD port. This server runs one openvpn config file which allows 3-5 remote clients to connect.

Is there a way to limit the bandwidth for openvpn as sometimes it seems to use all the adsl bandwidth which stops other programs using the internet.

Using the shape command what would i need to put in to say limit
openvpn to only use 256k up/down

Thanks.

Nick

Have a look at the following url's for some how-to's and stuff:

http://lartc.org/howto/
http://www.linuxbox.co.za/software/easyshape/

Or search for cbq and/or htb on freshmeat.net..

Please 'do' post what you've used to get it working like you want..
