Openswan 1.09 Linux 2.4.30

Hey,

I have two Linux machines with OpenSwan 1.09 and I have made a vpn connection net-to-net between them.
Everything is working fine when I use 3DES as the ipsec algorithm.
When I define the AES algorithm in the ipsec.conf file I get a message saying "kernel_alg_db_add() kernel enc ealg_id=12 not present".
When I do #modprobe ipsec_aes then it's working...

My question is:
Do I have to load the ipsec_aes.o module myself? Where can I do it (/etc/modules.conf?)

Thanks for your help
John
