Guys I'm playing around with openfiler trying to get a better for for storage and isci. The box is just a old p3 1gigaherz 512 ram with an adaptec 39160 scsi controller running a u160 18 gig IBM scsi drive. I have openfiler installed on a old 20 gig ide western digital and I also have a old maxtor 20 gig ide drive in the box.
I do not have a gigabit switch yet however I plan on getting one soon. I ran a problem with open filer I go in create a voulme than a share I present that to my windows xp box via the microsoft ISCSI initiator I go into disk mangement and attempt to format the 8 gig drive with ntfs and it fails with a message of format was unable to complete. When I KVM over to the filer system I see the following errors on the screen.

Program parted is using a deprecated SCSI IOCTL please convert to SG-IO
