open webmail error "Can't create your user directory! 7/mail (No such file or directo

i am using linux 9, sendmail and open webmail 2.21. when i log in to webmail, i got the error message "Can't create your user directory! 7/mail (No such file or directory) ". how can i fix it.

in the manpages with openwebmail, and the documentation, there should be a configuration file listed, this should contain a setting of where to put mail..

if that doesn't help please post again
