only torrent is working wtf ?


hi so here is the case:

ETH0 IP:192.168.0.1
LAN IP:192.168.0.11 default gateway : 192.168.0.1

SNAT:
iptables -t nat -o eth1 -A POSTROUTING -j SNAT --to 192.168.1.68
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward


192.168.1.68-eth1 wifi(this is where i get my internet from)

LAN-this is the computer on the network running windows xp pro

the only thing working on the LAN machine is uTorrent also nod32 updater,

please help me ? some issues with DNS but how do i fix them ?

You should be able to specify what DNS addresses you want to use in your router's interface. Select manual IP configuration, and fill in the blanks basically. I use OpenDNS (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220).

Then try pinging the DNS addresses, and if you get ping replies, the problem is almost certainly in your browser and/or firewall/proxy configuration(s).

IMHO you can only use the DNS ses specified by ur ISP.
The problems i am having are different.... linux to xp issues.. etc

Change the above to:

iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 192.168.0.0/24 -o eth1 -j SNAT --to-source 192.168.1.68
and see if it works.
