One side ping problem

i'm facing a new problem,
CURRENT SITUATION IS my router having internal ip of 192.168.2.2, and two linux servers are connected to router one is a proxy server that we discussed before, having tow network cards 192.168.2.1 connected to router and 192.168.1.102 connected to lan, other linux box is having ip of 192.168.2.101 which runs with a web app,
am able to connect to server 192.168.2.101 from internal lan(from any machine inside lan) through linux gateway, and able to ping to that machine,
And also able to ping from 192.168.2.101 to router(192.168.2.2) and linux box(linux gateway-192.168.2.1 and 192.168.1.102)and also able to ping to network 192.168.1.0
but the problem is am unable to ping to any machine inside LAN (192.168.1.17, 192.168.1.50,192.168.1.95 ..etc)

It sounds like the firewall has been setup how it should be, you should not be able to ping your internal lan from anywhere outside the network. Is there a reason why you need to be able to ping your internal network from the outside?

Thanx ptoguy for your reply....i had solved the problem by routing network 1(192.168.2.0) to network 1(192.168.1.0) from the linux box(192.168.2.101)... the problem occured due to it does'nt know how to go to network 1.. i had given entries for routing in to other netwok.....
thanks alote.....
