Nvidia network drivers

Here is my problem I have an Abit NF7-S motherboard that has built in Ethernet. Problem is RedHat 9.0 doesn't recognize it. I have gone to the Nvidia site and downloaded the supposed drivers for this chip set and ran the rpm files files. They seemed to install but when i try to configure the network connection there is no drop down for nvidia. I am totally new to the linux world so if anyone has a step by step retard proof way of getting RedHat to recognize that Ethernet card I would appreciate it. Also I have spare Ethernet cards that might be recognized by Linux would that be easier. :newbie:

I'm kind of new at this too, but this worked for me...

Open your favorite terminal, su to root and run

/sbin/lspci

If you see your ethernet controller, the drivers are installed.

Run redhat-config-network-druid and follow the instructions. It finds my onboard nForce2 Ethernet Controller.

Let us know what happens.
