nVidia MCP LAN + Mandrake 9.2 = Not working

Hardware:
AXP 2200+
Epox 8GRA+ (nVidia nForce2 IGP/MCP-T)

I just did a fresh install of Mandrake 9.2 and I'm using the onboard nVidia ethernet and the network config tool finds the MCP Networking controller and acts like it's going to the menu wehre I feed it my LAN IP and my gateway/DNS etc, but it doesn't. nVidia does not provide drivers for Man 9.2 and the source tarball and souce RPM were no help.

Can anyone help me get network working?

Im running slackware 9.0 and am having the same problem.
It seems nVidia only wanted to put the drivers out for redhat, suse, and mandrake. Wondering if anyone has gotten there nForce2 chipset drivers to work for the integrated network card?
