ntop in a switched network

I have ntop v.3.0 installed on freeBSD 5.2.1
and it works.

but which ntop start parameter do I need to start ntop in a switched network ?

at the moment I start ntop with:
/usr/local/bin/ntop -d -L --set-pcap-nonblocking -w -a /var/log/ntop.access.log -u nobody
