Im not sure what i changed or did to cause this but ive been gettin an error recently when trying to mount network drives in samba, but when i do it ignores the error and lets me anyway.(sometimes)

example, yesterday i was trying to see if samba was running right so i ran

smbclient -L god

and this showed up.

unkknown parameter "nterfaces"
added interface ip=192.168.0.1 bcast = 0192.168.0.255 nmask = 255.255.255.0
error connecting to 127.0.0.1:139 (connection refused)
connection to local host failed

anybody know why im getting this

At a guess - your interfaces line in /etc/smb.conf now reads nterfaces

PS - Remember to restart smbd and nmbd for the change to take effect, or send both process a SIGHUP signal using kill

probably an error in /etc/samab/smb.conf. looks like you've got the interfaces command wrong... add the i !!!!
