nslookup option


Hi all,

Thanks for coming by my post. Sorry i m a n00b. I am just trying to find out the option used by nslookup to see all the hosts of a particular domian. There is an option in nslookup which shows u all the subdomains of a particular domain (DNS domain). Thanks for your help in advance

Well, I think the use of nslookup is now discouraged. You should try dig.

But I am not aware of any such option that can find out all subdomain.

i know nslookup is deprecated but is there such an option with dig or host or anything else? I personally use dig to query the name servers but cant find an option for getting a list of subdomains for the domain. Please let me know if u find out a solution
