NSlookup.... for unix/linux?


Do they make this for Linux? It didnt come with my distro...who knows where i can get it or if the actually have an open source version?

yes, it's installed by default on redhat and madrake, probably others.

you sure it's just not on your path?

if you've definitely not got it, search for it at rpmfind.net

it's being deprecated tho, in favour of dig and host. so you might have them already if you're on a new distro

You obviously did a very slim install of your SuSE. Well, all the nameservice tools are in the following package:

series n/ packet bindutils
