nslookup fails from client dnsmasq

I have Ubuntu and installed "dnsmasq" to handel DNS and DHCP to my home LAN computers.

It works, but if I run nslookup or any other domain name, the client always gets the servers IP as result and my LAN dns i appended to the original address. eg.

Server: fw

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: "mylan"
Address: "xxx"."xxx".250.54

Any ideas why ?
