Question ns2-how to use Diffserv in wireless-cum-wired networks

hi
By using ns2.34, i am trying to implement diffserv Qos in a wireless-cum-wired scenario and having problem in policy implementation.

for wired networks,ns-2 defines a policy implementation at the edge router using the following.

$qEC addPolicyEntry [$s1 id] [$dest id] TokenBucket 10 $cir0 $cbs0

where source s1 is directly connected to edge router

how should i define policy for wireless-cum-wired networks as source node is not directly connected to edge router, but there is a BS(base station) between source and the edge router.
or Do i have to define policies for BS node too i-e not a router?
Also,i could not find diffserv examples for wireless-cum-wired networks.Do anyone knows where should i look for them.

i would be glad hearing any suggestions.
Regards
