Not fully understanding

I have a Linksys card and Router. Not sure how to fully configure them on my laptop. I have Fedora Core 5. Ive been reading through a book on FC 5. But I don't fully understand how to get them set up. I've read a couple articles that say Linksys Cards dont really work with Fedora. If there are any recommendations for a router and wireless card that work great with fedora that would be awesome. Thanks

Can you post what model wireless card it is, as Linksys use various chipsets in their cards. If you get the wireless card going it should connect to the router (as long as the router has the wifi enabled!).
