not able to connect to an interface after boot
I have 3 IBM ThinkCenter M51 with one token ring and one ethernet, all with identical hardware.
All installed with RHEL AS3, on machine is having problem with eth0. After reboot,
1) I cannot ping the ip on eth0 from outside
2) ifconfig shows eth0 is UP
3) I can ping the ip on eth0 from self
after "ifconfig eth0 down" and "ifconfig eth0 up"
1) I can ping the ip on eth0 from outside.
2) & 3) are as-is.
We have replaced the hardware but we experience the same problem. iptables and ip6tables are not running.
Howcould we solve this problem?
