not able to analyse rsvpd.8 file

hi,

I was searching on the rsvp protocol working in linux. I was going through the documents and found files with extension ".8". they have mentioned it to explain about its execution. I have attached one of them. It is for the main rsvp daemon. Any idea about these .8 files and how the execution is done?

That's a documentation file. You can view it from the command line with 'man 8 rsvpd'.
