NordVPN DNS leak on Mint 18.2
1 Attachment(s)
Hey there guys!
Well, I couldn't stand it and late last night (early this morning) setup my Windows computer to dual boot Mint 18. It's been a while since I have played with Linux and MAN has the GUI would changed! I was impressed with the speed, sharpness, effects, and ease to setup. I know Mint is a very heavy distro and it is geared to the newest of new users :D A problem I noticed was once I setup OpenVPN and setup the certificates that I use, I ran some tests. I noticed that I have a DNS leak. So I went back and shutdown the IPV6 connection (I read it is a workaround) and no change. I then read that the new network manager is prone to leakage so I downgraded back to version 1.2.2 and it leaked a little less. I have a screenshot of what I have so far. What in the world am I missing? All my other devices pass flawless and even Windows :tisk: worked flawless. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys! Travo |
