No /usr/include/usb.h header file

I was trying to install usb-modeswitch on my Fedora-14 (64 bit). But it said
Code:
usb_modeswitch.c:56:17: fatal error: usb.h: No such file or directory
When I tried to install libusb, it said that it is already installed and is the latest version. But, it still doesn't show usb.h in /usr/include directory.
What shall I do to make usb-modeswitch?

Hya,

I do not know much about non-Debian branch. You may need something like libusb-dev.

Happy Penguins!

Welcome to LQ. .. .. ..

Fedora 14 : # yum install libusb1-devel
(No files for software build are included in a runtime package like libusb1.)

You can also do # yum install usb_modeswitch
.. which will provide version 1.1.4

Please always use # 'yum search <name>' ( or part of name )
to know what's available.

..

one_harsh also PLEASE READ the fedora documentation !!!
A lot of work went into making them for new users
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/index.html
and DO READ the "users guide "
