alz3k3 LQ Newbie Registered: Sep 2005 Posts: 1 Rep:	no ipv4 address for dhcp client Installed Suse 10.0 on an IBM T40 laptop. I chose Suse because of it's wireless card support and all interfaces are installed and setup correctly. However, I can not receive an IPv4 address on any interface. I do receive an IPv6 address. If I statically assign an IPv4 address I am able to access network resources but not via DHCP. I tried to disable IPv6 but it did not make a difference. Has any one seen something like this before?
