As post #8 maybe your network card is very new and not supported yet in Linux.

You can add another one, LAN cards now are very cheap, you can buy one with about 4$ to 10$ only.

I know it's not necessary, but it's a simple and fast solution because the time is worthiest than few mony to lose instead of big time of your live for searching and bad tries.
