I have a Linksys 4 port router and am using DHCP. I have 3 other PC's on the network which are windows and all work fine. With my linux machine I cannot access the internet. I can ping pc's on my internal network, but I try to ping things on the external network I get a host unknown or destination unreachable error. My default gateway is set to the router ip, but when I do a route -n I get * as my default gateway listed. My resolv.conf file is set to the correct dns servers for my connection. I know my ISP is not windows only. When I boot the eth0 device is started properly and ok is displayed on boot.
I also did a traceroute on an external IP (my ISP's default gateway) and I get an error 'can't find interface'.
Any ideas?
