no internet connection on linux box but XP can logon to domain

G'day,

I was happily connected to the net last night and when i turn my Linux (redhat 9) box this morning, boom! no internet~

On the same Linux box, i have an XP (for games) and i can i can go online with it!
I set the Linux box as a PDC and my other XP box can logon to the domain...
So i reckon that the problem is not my NIC, i can also ping my ADSL router and 2 other PCs connected to it...

Did i mess up something on my Redhat?
My eth0 is active uner network config... i don't remember doing anything odd to my linux box yesterday...

Try as SU

# service network restart

and/or

# service internet start

make sure you have your "network at boot" checked in your network config

hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply, Rye~

I have my eth0 to start on boot, also tried restarting the network service a few times before posting this thread.
Um... How come i do not have /sbin/service internet start?
I got internet: unrecognized service...

Anyway, appreciate the response! THanks again~

Anybody that has more ideas that i should try?
