Question No inetd.conf - why??? - WARNING *NEWBIE*

OK so I'm posting alot today! Many questions are popping into my head. This one's simple....

Why don't I have an inetd.conf file on my RH 7.1 box? Looked everywhere for it (used find . -name inetd.conf) and it couldn't find it either. I figure I haven't installed something, anyone care to tell me what it is?!

Thanks, BH
