no host, timed out
the LAN IPs are in, linux red hat 9 will ping
windows 98 (online) will not ping (ping.exe is gone)
PPPshare Pro will activate (win)
everything on it works fine except DNS
there is a Cat 5 crossover connecting the two NIC cards
the ethernet card is activated on the linux
the firewall is disabled on linux
'operation timed out' is what mozzilla gives me when trying to get online
'unable to connect to host' is what amsn gives me
what do I need to do to get online?

yeah
if by routing tables you mean...
the proxy ports...yes
the network devices in red hat9....I believe so
rh9 knows that it is 192.168.0.2
and I think that the rest of its IP's are correct
if there are routing tables on windows
I don't even know where they are...

first do "route -n" see if you have a G in your flags for one of the devices.
if you don't then
"route add default gw 192.168.0.1"
