Nmap & Iptables Upgrade???
 

- is it possible to upgrade built-in nmap and iptables in fedora core 3.

You could see if there have been updated packages released. If there aren't then you just need to uninstall them and then install the newer versions from the makers websites. You don't even need to uninstall the old versions if you install them to a different directory.
