I am facing problem while creating testbed using nistnet using linux machines .

Testbed description:
(1)One sender(IP address : is connected with another linux machine r1 (IP address:
(2)r1 is connnected with nistnet linux machine(IP :
(3)Nistnet is connected with receiver

I want to set delay of 150 between r1 and receiver.

So I add src adress ( and dst address( on nistnet.

And set appropriate routes on all machine .I am getting delay of 150 using ping command on r1.

But i am not getting packet size as 1500 and update of queue length .

So nistnet doesn't seem working.
But when remove r1 and put nistnet on directly between sender and reciver it works fine.

So Is there problem with routing rule or LAN network or nistnet.?

NistNET is no longer maintained. Depending on your distribution you will want to use 'netem' instead.
