NIS problem

Hi all...

I'm having a problem with nis.

I'm trying to configure a server with nis and nfs, the /home is in the server.

I can log in the as an user in the workstations, via the nis user and password, my home directory goes direct to the nfs directory in the server.

The problem is that after i log in linux tells me that it can't find the name for the UID 500. I cal ypcat passwd and the user is in there.

What can be happening???

Thx.
