Hi ! All
I have set up my nis master and client with red hat 8. I have created users (using useradd). Also setup NFS with no problem.

Now I want to expore more on "netgroup" to do the following.
1) how can I control files and directory access to my nis server.
2) How to restrict user to access certain files and directory (how can i do it with /etc/exports ? is there any other ways ?)
3) Do I need to create user using "useradd" then create the netgroup members. like gate-user (,user1,) (,user2) and so on.
If I did not "useradd" and "passwd" how can I assign the password to members of gate-user.
4) all the documentation did not explore much on netgroup. Anybody know which website or resources I can read more on netgroup.

Appreciate if any one can give me explanation and details on netgroup.
