NIS & same home dir's for users

G'day ya all..

just need some little help with NIS.

i got it up & running (server + client) no prob's here.
it's just that i would like to give all users the same home-dir

i tryed the following with the passwd file

+:::::/tmp:/bin/sh

but neither user end's up in /tmp or get the sh shell..
(just bash and error : no directory /home/test, logging in with home =/)

the home dit ain't importand, coz it's gonna be a Samba file server.
i just need the usernames & groups for the acl support ed.

Got some tip's or good idea's.. ??

Greet's

my suggestion would be to use nfs to share the home directory of the required users
this way user can get the access to their home directories,

now about groups and acl
in my case i created different folders for diff groups and also used the same folder name as nfs mount points,
i hope this will be helpful
