NIC utilization

We have several Redhat ES 4 servers. We are trying figure out how to get nic utilization, either in Mb/s or percentage used. Anyone have any ideas?

I am also looking for a tool that does not rely on a web browser. I want to be able to see nic utilization at the command line.

Try..."man stat" for the big picture. Then..."stat --help"...for the choices. Then the one that may find YOUR printout..."stat [YOUR choice]". Then for details and methods. Good luck.
