NIC SPEED and MTU


In linux, how can I determine the speed and MTU size that my nic is set to and how would I go about changing the speed along with the MTU's size?

Not sure about speed, but MTU can be set/seen using ifconfig

THAT IS STRANGE THAT IFCONFIG DOES DISPLAY THE SPEED OR MAYBE THERE IS AN OPTION THAT I AM NOT USING!
