Unhappy NFS/Samba delay after writing to file

Hi,
At home I have got 2 servers - storage server and application server.
Storage server is hosting SAMBA for my home network @ 1Gbps and also NFS for application server to store data.
Application server is hosting Apache, MySQL, etc.

I am developing PHP application and when I make changes to file through SAMBA from Win/Mac machine directly on storage server, then it takes about 5 - 10 seconds to load in browser for the first time. Which rapidly slows down my development and mainly debug speed. But when I make any changes directly from console of any of these 2 servers it is working okay and page loads immediately.

Can anybody please help me resolve this issue ? :-(

Hi,
I think you should close or flush the stream or file you have written. The lag you see maybe a buffered file-operation.

Thank you for your advice,
but I am working in Eclipse and Netbeans and I believe that these application are closing streams correctly.
I have been thinking of some caching issue but I can't find out what the problem is. No configuration directives for NFS or SAMBA that would help.
