NFS Mount SCP Networking Question

I'll try to explain this as best as I can.

Server1 has a NFS mount mounted to /mnt
Server1 is in California
The NFS location is on a NAS in London

Server2 is in London
Because of security in place the NFS London NAS cannot be mounted on Server2.

I run the following command on Server2:

Code:
scp user@Server1:/mnt/testfile /tmp
Does testfile go from London->Cincinnati->London, or does it just go from London->London since the NFS mount is in London?
