NFS export question

I have a situation where I am trying to do the following:

We are using NetApp.

1) Replicate data from primary storage to secondary storage (Using SnapMirror, works great)
2) Integrate export information from the primary controller to the export information on the secondary controller while preserving the existing exports on the secondary controller.
3) Refresh exports on the secondary controller to ensure that exports from the primary controller are active.

I've asked this same question in NetApp support forums but thought I would try here.

The sticking points are #2 by having to preserve the existing export information on the secondary.

I'm sure that I can do #3 by creating a scheduled process to run the command to refresh the exports on the secondary controller.

Any help with #2 would be greatly appreciated.
